Bottle and Can Drive
Hi Everyone,
The results are in! The bottle and can drive held on Satruday, Oct 10th collected 7067 bottles and cans for redemption. This means the Booster Club will be getting a check for $278.35 after expenses! This money is in addition to the $280.00 that was received in cash donations! Thanks again to all of those players and parents who helped make this fundraiser a huge success.

Bottle & Can Drive Proves Successful
Thanks to all of you for making our can and bottle drive a success. We
had a great turnout of players and many of the parents came with their
cans and bottles.
The girls were able to collect approx. $280 in cash donations
alone!!!!!! (And they didn’t even get arrested)
We have to wait for the results on the total collected for the cans and
bottles, but we hope that is a good number too.
Special thanks to Claudia Conti and her husband Joe for making the signs
and organizing the event. Also to Deb and Pat Boland, Donna Hutvagner,
Kathy Frenette and Jackie Framski for their help going through all of
the bottles and cans that were dropped off.
Extra special thanks to all the girls who came and worked hard to make
this a successful fundraiser.

Can and Bottle Drive
On Saturday, October 10th between 9 and 1, there will be a can and bottle drive at St. Anthony’s Church in Prospect. The proceeds will go to the Woodland Volleyball Booster Club. Please bring all of your redeemable cans and bottles to the church parking lot. There will be a truck there to receive everything for us.
If you can’t make it on Saturday, but have redeemable cans and bottles, you can bring them to my house @ 4 Hockanum Glen Drive in Beacon Falls by 8:15 on Saturday morning. (They would just need to be in clean plastic bags.)
Please spread the word since we do not have everyone’s e-mail.
Thank you!
